Generative engine optimisation, run from Singapore.
GEO is the work of changing what AI assistants say about a company. We measure it, correct it at the source, and re-test the same questions every month.
What generative engine optimisation is.
TIY GEO is the generative engine optimisation practice of TIY TECH PTE. LTD., a Singapore-registered company (UEN 202608684N) at 7500A Beach Road. We work on one surface: the written answer a buyer reads after asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google a question about suppliers.
Generative engine optimisation (GEO) is the practice of making a company appear, correctly and by name, inside those answers. It is sometimes sold as answer engine optimisation (AEO) or AI search optimisation; the labels differ, the work does not.
GEO is not SEO with a new name. SEO competes for a position in a list of links. GEO competes for a sentence, in an answer assembled from sources the model chose to read — your site, directories, partner pages, articles you did not write. You control the first; you influence the rest. The longer comparison is here.
Why this is a Singapore problem specifically
Buyers here compare suppliers across jurisdictions, and increasingly they ask an assistant before they open a browser tab. The practical risk is not invisibility — it is being described wrongly: an outdated service list, a parent company that reads as the local entity, a phone number from a 2019 directory. An answer engine will repeat whatever the most consistent sources say. Consistency is the work.
One language, ten questions, four engines, three months.
Fixed before we start, so the second reading can be compared with the first.
- Fix the question setTen questions real buyers ask, in one language. Written down before the first run, and not changed mid-quarter — otherwise the comparison is meaningless.
- Record every answer verbatimChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google, same questions, same conditions. Named or not named, and in what words. Raw answers kept, not summarised into a score.
- Correct the facts at the sourceLegal name, UEN, address, services and service area aligned everywhere a machine can read them: your site, structured data, directories, partner pages.
- Re-test on the same questionsMonthly, on the record. Including the months when nothing moves, because those months are the honest part.
What we will not do: guarantee a citation, sell a placement dressed as a recommendation, or promise a fixed number of weeks. Answer engines decide per question and per user, and they change silently. Anyone selling a guaranteed mention is selling something they do not control.
We ran this on ourselves first. Our own baseline is published: the questions, the engines, and whether we were named — including when the answer was no.
What it costs, and why there is no number on this page.
Three scopes, billed monthly, three-month minimum. Quoted in SGD before GST.
We quote after the free check, not before it. A monthly figure published without a scope attached is not a price, it is a negotiating position: the same number covers ten questions in one language for a single-site company, and forty across three markets for a group.
What is fixed: three scopes, a three-month minimum, and a report every month whether or not anything moved. What changes the number: how many questions, how many languages, how much content is missing, and how many third-party sources have to be built from nothing.
Before you talk to anyone — us included — read what actually drives the cost. It covers the range this market charges, what that range does and does not buy, and the four things you should not pay for.
Four straight answers.
Is GEO the same as SEO?
No. SEO targets a position in a list of links; GEO targets being named inside a written answer. They share the same technical foundation — crawlable pages, clear structure, real facts — but the unit you compete for is different, and so is the measurement.
How long before anything changes?
Nothing in the first month is a result; it is a baseline. Corrections to source facts usually surface in answers within four to eight weeks, and the first honest comparison is the three-month mark. We will not give you a date for a citation.
Can you guarantee we get mentioned by ChatGPT?
No, and neither can anyone else. Answer engines generate per question, per user, per run. What we can do is put consistent, correct, quotable facts in front of them and show you the before-and-after answers, month by month.
Do you work with companies outside Singapore?
We work from Singapore and in English. If your buyers are elsewhere, the questions and sources change with the market; the method does not. Ask before assuming we are the right fit.
