GEO agencies in Singapore: what AI actually recommends
Every other “best GEO agencies in Singapore” list we could find is published by an agency that ranks itself first. This one is different in one way: it is not a ranking, it is a recording. We asked two engines the same question and wrote down what came back — including the part where our own company did not appear.
What we asked, and how
On 2 November 2026, in a logged-in session, on the default model of each platform, we asked both engines the same question in English:
Which agencies in Singapore offer generative engine optimization (GEO) services? List them with their websites.
We kept the answer verbatim, saved the cited source URLs, and did not re-run the question until we got a longer list. One question, one answer per engine. That is a small sample, and we say so rather than dressing it up as a study.
What came back
ChatGPT named 16 agencies: Stridec, OOm, First Page Digital, MediaPlus Digital, Hashmeta, MediaOne, Impossible Marketing, PurpleClick Media, AI Studio, Rankpage, Verz Design, Digitrio, Canlah AI, Synscribe, iTechStudio and Activa Media. It then narrowed to five: Stridec, AI Studio, OOm, Hashmeta and Synscribe.
Perplexity named 7: Hashmeta, Digitrio, Business Thrust, Advergreen Digital, Impossible Marketing, OOm and Rankpage.
Named by both: 5 — Hashmeta, Digitrio, Impossible Marketing, OOm and Rankpage.
The two lists are mostly different. Eleven of the sixteen names ChatGPT produced do not appear in Perplexity’s answer at all. This is the single most useful thing in this article: there is no fixed market list for an engine to read from. Each answer is assembled per question, from sources the model chose at that moment.
What the five in both have in common
We looked at the pages each engine cited, not at the agencies’ marketing claims.
- A page that says “GEO” in the path or the title. Perplexity’s own answer stated its reasoning: the first four it listed had “directly identified GEO service pages or first-party descriptions”. Hashmeta was cited at
/capabilities/geo/, Digitrio at/generative-engine-optimization-agency/, Business Thrust at/services/geo-seo-services/. A general “digital marketing” page does not do this job. - A third-party page repeating the claim. Every answer we recorded leaned on at least one source the agency did not write — a directory profile, a round-up, a business listing. An agency’s own site was necessary and never sufficient.
- A number the engine could quote. The two answers that mentioned price (Stridec and Best Marketing) named a starting figure. The ones that did not were described as “requires a quote” or “less transparent”.
Where we are in this
Not in either list. We ran this check on ourselves first, and the result is zero mentions out of three questions — which is why our own baseline is published rather than hidden.
The reasons are visible from the outside, and they are the same three above. At the time of the test our GEO service page was the general services page, not a page an engine could identify as a GEO offering by its path or title. We had no directory profile carrying the claim. We published no starting figure.
We have since added a dedicated GEO page. The other two are work in progress, and we will re-run the same question monthly and publish the count either way. Anyone selling this service who will not show you their own count is asking you to buy something they have not measured.
How to judge any agency on this list
A name in an AI answer is evidence that the agency is visible, not that it is good. The two are related and not the same. Five questions separate them:
- Show me your own baseline. The questions, the engines, the answers, and whether you were named. If they cannot produce this for their own company, they cannot produce it for yours.
- Who measures, and who implements? If the same team marks its own homework, ask to see the raw answers rather than a dashboard score.
- Which engines, which language, which country? An answer differs by all three. A programme that does not state them cannot be compared with another quote.
- What happens in a month where nothing moves? The honest answer is “you get the report anyway”. A vendor who only reports wins has not been running long enough.
- Will you guarantee a mention? The correct answer is no. No agency controls what a model says, and a guarantee is the clearest signal that the vendor does not understand the surface they are selling.
One caveat worth repeating
This is a recording of two answers on one day in November 2026. Answer engines change per question, per user and per run; a name that appears today can be absent next month without anything being wrong. Treat the list as a starting point for your own shortlist and the five questions above as the actual test. Ask each of them the same thing we asked the engines, and compare what they can show you.
We will re-run this exact question at the start of each month and update the count. If we are still absent in three months, that will be in this article too.
